Todays draw issued 3900 invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residence ITAs bringing the 2018 year-to-date total to 82000. If more than one candidate has the lowest score the cut-off is based on the date and time they submitted their Express Entry profiles. Consequently candidates in the Express Entry pool with a score of 440 or above at the time of the draw are now in a position to apply for Canadian permanent resident status.
It has resulted in the Comprehensive Ranking System CRS points requirement for receiving an invitation to apply ITA to decrease as compared to the previous CEC draw on June 10 2021.
The July 8 Express Entry draw was restricted to candidates eligible for the Canadian Experience Class CEC only.
